Amy Monahan has been using the Orton Gillingham method to tutor students for over 20 years. She builds trusting relationships with students and adapts her teaching to the needs of the student. She earned a Masters in the Art of teaching from George Washington University.

She primarily  works with students in grades 3- 8.helping them to gain the confidence and skills to become literate and successful learners.

She serves as the Co Chair of Dyslexia Language Skills where she works to support tutors and strengthen the organization.
