Jo has two college degrees in special education and taught in public schools before home schooling her own children. When returning to the workforce she added Slingerland Orton-Gillingham training to strengthen her skills with remediating students' reading/spelling skills. She used these O-G skills in private school classroom settings for about 10 years before switching to one-on-one tutoring. She has been a member of LST since 2012. Her current students include those enrolled in private schools, public schools and home schooling families.
