Board Treasurer OG Tutor

Lubna Qureshi is a dedicated special educator with over 20 years of experience in special education intervention and neurodiversity advocacy. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and Special Education/Gifted & Talented, an M.Ed. in International Education, and is an Orton‑Gillingham Associate. Her training grounds her work in structured, evidence‑based multisensory instruction for literacy development.

Lubna has worked in a variety of school and clinic settings and has spent two years at Language Skills Therapy providing individualized, one‑on‑one Orton‑Gillingham instruction. She works with students from elementary through high school, customizing sessions to each student’s needs and coordinating supports with teachers, specialists, and families.

What Lubna enjoys most is partnering with families and educators to remove barriers and build lasting skills and confidence; most of all, she loves seeing students empowered and happy in who they are. Her approach combines clear structure, multisensory techniques, ongoing assessment, and collaborative problem‑solving. She prioritizes student‑centered practice and practical strategies that translate into classroom success, and she supports professional development that empowers school teams to better serve diverse learners.

In addition to direct intervention, Lubna leads community and school initiatives focused on inclusive practices and parent education. She is proud to serve on Language Skills Therapy’s board as its treasurer.
